## You are done when…

Open work shows an accountable action with its owner, priority, due date, and current state.

## Troubleshooting

<a id="troubleshooting-an-action-is-still-in-open-work"></a>

### An action is still in Open work.

Check its state and save the completion or cancellation update. An owner alone does not complete the action.

<a id="troubleshooting-the-owner-list-is-empty"></a>

### The owner list is empty.

Confirm workspace members are available and use the incident's permissioned responder list.

<a id="troubleshooting-an-owner-is-unavailable"></a>

### An owner is unavailable.

Assign the action to an available responder. Update the incident responders when needed.

<a id="troubleshooting-the-action-is-too-broad"></a>

### The action is too broad.

Split it into separate observable outcomes. Give each action one owner.
